CERMET Tooth Design

Cermet is a composite material that combines both ceramic and metal components. The metal serves as a binder, and nickel and cobalt are commonly used in cermet alloys. In addition to providing excellent surface finish during machining (cutting), cermet carbide also ensures significantly longer tool life. This combination of strength and wear resistance is essential for cutting steel with cermet carbide toothed blades.

The KP series circular saws are perfect for cutting thin sheet metal, including roofing sheets, on saws. The tooth design allows for fast, precise, and, most importantly, clean cutting without burrs and scorch marks. The center width of the blade is 1.40mm, and the kerf is only 1.8mm. Low cutting resistance due to the thin blade ensures comfortable working conditions.

The blade is precision-made with special laser notches to reduce noise and vibrations during cutting.
